Privacy policy

This policy describes what Guillotine (saltysports.co) collects and how it is used. This is a small private fantasy app, not a large consumer platform.

What we collect

• Account: email, display name, and a hashed password. We do not store your password in plaintext.
• League data: team names, rosters, draft picks, FAAB bids, lineups, and scores needed to run the league.
• Session cookies: an http-only cookie keeps you signed in.
• Email: we send verification and password-reset messages. We do not sell your address.
• Logs: hosting providers (e.g. Vercel, Neon, Resend) may retain request logs, IP addresses, and delivery metadata as part of running the service.

How we use it

To operate your account and leagues, send transactional email, prevent abuse (including rate limiting), and fix bugs. We do not run ads or sell personal data.

Sharing

League members see display names, teams, and on-field activity — not your email. We share data with infrastructure vendors only as needed to host the app. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

Account and league records stay until the operator deletes the league or account. You can ask the operator to delete your account; league history involving other managers may be retained in anonymized or commissioner-held form.

Third-party stats

Player lists and live stats are fetched from Sleeper and similar public sports APIs. Those services have their own terms.
